Idea Optical reaffirms its commitments in its 2024 CSR report

A Vision Rooted in Our Values

Since its creation in 2006, Idea Optical has stood out for its expertise in the design and manufacturing of fiber optic connectivity systems. Our values – Professionalism, Team Spirit, Commitment, and Excellence – guide our daily actions and shape our ambitions. This CSR report is a concrete demonstration of these principles, which also align with those of the ACOME Group.

Key Highlights of the 2024 CSR Report

Our report highlights several strategic themes :

• 1. Social and Societal Commitments : We promote training, inclusion, and a healthy work-life balance, with 83% of our employees trained in 2023 and an 8% employment rate for people with disabilities.
• 2. Health and Safety : Initiatives such as ergonomic investments and daily warm-ups aim to reduce the risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs).
• 3. Environment : In 2023, we conducted our first carbon footprint assessment, which amounted to 9,464 tonnes of CO2 equivalent. This assessment marks the starting point of our enhanced efforts to reduce our environmental impact, particularly through eco-design, waste management – with a current recycling rate of 71.8% – and a strong focus on our energy consumption.
• 4. Responsible Sourcing : In 2023, 70% of our raw material purchases were made in France, supporting the local economy while reducing our carbon footprint.
